The New Haven Pride Center is hosting its 8th Annual New Haven Dorothy Awards, a dinner, dancing and recognition gala, on March 5, 2011 to recognize community members who have made a significant contribution to the GLBT community in Connecticut. This year’s recipients are Marilyn Bowens, pastor of MCC New Haven; Tony Ferraiolo, co-founder and president of the Jim Collins Foundation; Robb Bartolomeo, owner of Titan Entertainment Group; and the Northeast Ursamen. They all have been selected to receive the coveted awards this year, and we are very excited that we are able to recognize their contributions to our community.

An important way for us to make the Dorothy Awards truly successful is by enlisting businesses and individuals to support the event. We are asking for support from our fellow CABO members for this important event in Connecticut; it is a great way to show your involvement in our community.  

There are four ways you can support our evening: You can:

1) become an event sponsor,
2) advertise in our program booklet,
3) donate an item to the Silent Auction that we will be conducting that night, and/or
4) attend the event!
